Dreammates is a great site. I just became
single again (a year ago) after being married for 10 years,
I'm 43 now. I spend a lot of time online with my work and
figured I would try the dating sites. I had a profile on Dreammates
for a while with no photo. I had a few emails that came nto
my mail box but nothing to lose sleep over. I posted my photo
last spring and had about 35 emails the first night and a
total of over 100 emails in the first couple months.
There is no similarity between my photo and Tom Cruise's photo,
but there is someone for everyone and I don't think I'm that
bad looking....lol Anyway...I'm dating an incredible girl
right now so I haven't been on the site for a few months but
I know thier membership grows rapidly and they have over 3
million memberships right now. They allow you to post your
profile in three of Dreammates catagories, Dating, Romance
and Intimate. Dreammates allows you to purchase credits to
use to contact others and use instant messaging to communicate.
There is a monthly "Premium membership" option but
you can also communicate without paying the monthly fee. A
great dating site !..
UPDATE: I have some friends in Kelowna B.C. , A few guys in thier 50s that have signed up to both Dreammates and Lavalife with incredibe results, they didn't even post a photo. My one friend has had at least 50 to 100 girls that he has met or corresponded with through the two sites and it has changed his life.

Lavalife is another site that I had some great
response on. I posted my photo the same time as I posted on
Dreammates. I recieved about half of the emails that I recieved
from Dreammates but there were some really great people and
this site is well worth it, one of my favorites. Lavalife
operates a similar model to Dreammates in that you can buy
credits to send an email instead of paying $25.00 per month
for unlimited emails. I also know a bunch of other people
that really like Lavalife. Lavalife is another of the most
popular sites around and one of our favorites. You may post
a profile on 3 different communities depending on the type
of relationship you are looking for. If you are looking for
love, sex or just a great date...www.lavalife.com is a fantastic
site.
